Here are just a few of the fantastic testimonials and reviews we have received from some of our guests.

"We were blessed to have our wedding at Villa Aloreon. It was seven years ago and our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful and special the wedding was. We held the ceremony by the water and before it began, two dolphins swam by. Buena Vista is truly a one stop shop for the most amazing and memorable wedding experience."

Amy & Darren [USA - April 2008]

"Wow!! Villa Aloreon really is an amazing home, the views are simply stunning. We literally spent hours watching the boats pass and the sun set. The pool was a huge success, with our youngest aged 6 learning how to dive and snorkel, and by the end of the month was actually diving off the bridge with his brother and two sisters!! Your property manager was a great help looking after the pool and grounds and taking the children fishing off the dock."

Bryan [United Kingdom - August 2008]

"We wanted to thank you again for allowing us to have our wedding at your house. We had a wonderful time and the wedding was perfect. Your house provided a perfect location - people were amazed by the beautiful setting. Your property manager was extremely helpful all week."

Joe & Heather [USA - May 2007]

"We just wanted to write and let you know that we had a wonderful time during our vacation at Villa Aloreon. We have been talking about it non stop since our return to Germany. We look forward to our next visit in 2009!"

The History of Villa Aloreon

Villa Aloreon was built in 1992 by Markus Schultz. The history of the property goes back to the 1940s when Paul Schultz an immigrant from Germany started buying up acreage in Southwest Florida for a thriving business as a gladiolus grower.

Eventually they became the largest gladiolus growers in America with thousands of acres in Southwest Florida much of it on the banks of the Intracoastal waterway. In the late sixties, they carved out approximately 11 acres on the Intracoastal waterway directly adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico. The property virtually a peninsula, shown on maps as Palmetto Point, where the Caloosahatchee River and the Intracoastal waterway turn more eastward and forming the boating waterway that connects the East and West coast of Florida to Lake Okeechobee.

This property had the added man made boat basin that was used at the time for staging barges along the Intracoastal Waterway.

In the late 1980s the Schultz' deeded five and a half acres to their son (Markus Schultz) including the boat basin and the point along the Intracoastal waterway identified as Palmetto Point.

The pool area encompasses a large in ground lighted pool over ten feet deep at the deep end and a concrete bridge that goes over the pool leading to a built in 10 person spa.

The property is totally secluded accessed only by a private quarter mile drive at the end of which is a security gate monitored by remote camera and intercom system. The yacht basin has been upgraded to include seawall, electric boat lift, 110' concrete captains walk, shore power supply, jet ski docking, separate air conditioned boat house with bath, diesel fuel storage and pumping equipment.
